ARCHIE BALUYO
Within the one semester of discussion regarding media literacy and Information literacy I realized that I have been careless and insensitive in using different medias in the internet. I am furious in commenting in various posts in social media, which is very unethical. After every discussion I kept on realizing that I should be sensitive and toughtful of what I am commenting and posting in social medias.
I also learned that in gathering data in the internet I must be cautious because there are things called copyright amd plagiarism that when I violated and committed I might be sued and be punished. Before I am a great violator of copyrigt and I committed plagiarism, a lot. I have been using other's idea, picture, video, work, etc. without proper citation and acknowledgement of tge source. As I get educated of the topic plagiarism I am now cautious of the information I get n the internet. I learmed how what kind of person who plagiarize I was.
These learnings were made possible by the guidance and practical wirks give by Ma'am Merly which greatly honed my academic and technical skills.

In media and information literacy first of all the senior high school is welcome to explore it as a guide to integrate technology in their class activities. This subject is not easy but I enjoy all of the moments. For the student he/she need to develop a digital citizenship and lifelong learning.
Media information again is a set of competencies that empowers citizens to access, retrieve, understand, evaluate and use, to create as well as share information and media content in all formats, using various tools, in a critical, ethical and effective way, in order to participate and engage in personal, professional and societal activities.
As a teenager, student and social media user, I LEARNED A LOT OF THINGS IN THIS SUBJECT (media Information Literacy). We discussed about the evolution of tradition to new media. We learned that there are four evolution of media, the pre - industrial age, industrial age, electronic age and new/information age were we tackled about the different forms of media in every age. Social networks such as fb and instagram are example forms of new/information age. As we all know fb is the top used social network in our generation that helps to get information and communicate with others easily but some of the users uses it in a wrong way that cause trouble for everyone that using it. Media and Information sources is also discussed in this subject that helps widen our knowledge about the different types of sources. After that we tackled about the different types of angles and shots in capturing pictures and making film that really helps me to capture beautiful things:).
I have also learned the different types of plagiarism that also helps me as a grade 12 student that conducting a research, it gives knowledge how and why we should avoid plagiarism so that we can prevent to commit a crime. As a social media user we are responsible for every action we make. We must be responsible enough and we need to think first because there are a lot of consequences if we use it in a wrong way.

Media and Information Literacy is the subject that help me to better understand what is the true essense of using online apps and how to be a good online user.In this class I have learned a lot of things that can help me to be a good steward online.We all know that we have the rights to use online apps freely that we can post or share different thoughts and even sharing our own feelings that sometimes can help us to lessen our problems and of being stress. On the other hand sometimes we use online apps as our pain reliver because it help us to be not being alone.

For me in my own life I am using internet to have fun and to gather information in different people in different places in the world. In my early year of using internet I don't care about others I just only think my own good but because of this class and subject I have learned that in using internet and online apps we should think on what would be the effects to other people if we share or post any thoughts because it is true that sometimes because of the internet there are many people get hurts in a simple way we did.

First of all, I can see that the expectations that I wrote on our first activity in this subject was successfully done. I learned that being Information and Media literate is very important since technology is what the world demands for today and in the future. And as we all know that everything can be accessed through the use of media and having enough knowledge about this, we can easily live, access, create ideas, ad dive to the digital world that everybody lives in.
Media literacy is the ability to know and understand how the mass media works. Media literate people are skillful in creating and producing media messages to facilitate understanding of specific qualities of each medium and at the same time create independent media and participate as active citizens.
Media interprets the past and shows us what has made us into being the way we are. Like geography, it defines for us our place in the world. Media literacy also helps us understand the workings of our immediate world and also our places individually in it. The media is also a major source of modern culture and entertainment and also requires us to learn and use the critical thinking skills. Media literacy helps us define how we communicate with others and also helps us to adopt the edge of modern technological innovations.

What I learned from our subject, Media Information Literacy(MIL) is about the different sources of media. We've experienced to create vlog. I learn and understand how to use WIX in creating websites and portfolios. I learned how to use Edmodo. MIL helps us student to improve our knowledge about media and technology. With the use of media people communicate easily. We can be updated through the help of social media and other trending media and I also understand the bad effects of social media to human. There are people that is addicted to social medias such as facebook, instagram and also the online games, some of them is being irresponsible with their jobs and with their studies, especially students who are addicted to online games which causes for them to forget their first priority which is to study. I learned many things about MIL and computers and communications. Our last topic is all about plagiarism. All of us knows plagiarism, it is a crime. It is the copying the work of others and not acknowledging the real authors. I learned also about the different types of plagiarism and we must aware of it because if we commit such crime there will be huge consequences. That's all I learned and understand about our subject Media Infromation Literacy.

I am a person that loves using computer and gadgets, and MIL is one of the subject that suits my hobby. During the 6 months of discussion and activities I leared a lot. first of all, i get to know the history media from traditional to new. It is so amazing, from the traditional tools and equipment used by our ancestors evolved to digital devices that we can use anytime and in just one second. Using media we can do both, verbal and non verbal communication. But media doesn't necessary mean that is is only through internet, media is everywhere and anywhere. We use media everyday.
There are three sources of information mainly libraries, indigenous media and internet. Libraries are anything that is written (such as books, recordings, manuscripts, etc.). Indigenous media is a kind of information that came from our ancestors it can be written, but most of them are oral. Internet is anything you see and read in social media.
My background about kinds of camera shots was refreshed through the short film and activities. Also, my knowledge about plagiarism was refreshed and I learn something knew, which is the types of plagiarism.

MIL this subject give me more knowledge about this new world full of new ideas and technology. MIL does not also teach about computer but it teach what is beyond it . I learn more in what about i know i have some knowledge about this but MIL hepls me to gain more knowledge about this. I learn how to use my gadget more productive like making some film that can help other people in informing. I also learn how to make my own website and i can also now edit properly my video. But the last that i learn is the ethics of this.. MIL helps me be more modern and be more high knowing person.

In my second semester of being Grade 12 student of Central Bicol State University of Agriculture, our units change and one of our unit we takes is Media and Information Literacy. The Media and Information Literacy talks about technologies and its other uses. I learned about different types of social networking sites and its uses. We also submitted a self reflection of how the technology and social medias affect the teenagers today. I get to know about the different types of shots and angles of camera in taking photos and videos. We also complied with the short film requirement and apply the different shot, we learned also the editing skills in inserting music and subtitles and in adjusting the brightness and contrast of it.
After the midterm, we did have a reporting in the different topics about Media Information Literacy. Recently, I learned about different types of plagiarism and the definition of plagiarism itself. I learned that plagiarism is not only committed in students but also with some people who are already have their professions in their field. I learned and understand about plagiarism so that I can avoid committing to it in the near future when we are already professionals in our chosen field.

As a student I learned a lot during our period in Media and Information Literacy. For now, media serves as the major role of communication. Millenials are used to express their feelings and opinions through the use of media.Almost of the individuals have different accounts in facebook, twitter, and instagram and more, with the use of these accounts we are capable to access and gather information such as the latest articles, and news in the internet. I also learned about the different angles and shots in capturing the photos and images. There are shots and angles that we should be aware of in capturing images because it emphasizes more the beauty of the image. I also learned about the Plagiarism which is the act of copying the intellectual work of an author without giving credits or acknowledgement to it. Because of this topic I've learned that I should work on my own to have originality and we should be aware that having the content of our work will be felt and shown that will lead us to honesty and goodness. So that I believe that if we are contributing to have better education I think it is the best option

Reflection I learned a lot about media and infotmation literature. I knew the history of media, the first inventions and how it is developed. We tackled and learned about the innovations of media like the newspapers to social media and friendster to messenger and facebook. I learned about the different angles in photography and also learned how to avoid plagarism. And the most important thing that I learned is to use the media properly and the do's and don'ts that we need to remember to use the social media properly.

Media Information Literacy is one of the new subject in this curriculum. During our semester we did a lot of discussion and activities in rhis subject. It became easy for me because it is kinda the same with our former subject Empowerment Technology. We tackled about the different medias that contain different information in the form of either print or broadcast. These are the television, radio, newspapers, magazines, etc. Our teacher Ma'am Merly also discussed the traditional and new face of media technology. Decades ago, we only have letters to deliver our messages from someone miles away, later own telephone was invented and it was a great help. People became more accessible because of new passage way of messages. But today's generation, we have a lot of different new gadgets that are very useful and easy to use such android phones, laptop, computers, tablets, etc.
We also made a movie about old traditions and different beliefs in terms of courtship and respect of the Filipinos. The movie contains some matured scenes but it was bearable to the eye of the viewers. Our group movie was entitled LUKSA, movie about a girl who happened to kill herself because of too much love for one who she thought cheated on her. It was a tragic movie and we got 95 grade from that. I'm so happy because we deserved it.
We also did reporting about different types of photography and angle shots. And our last topic was the plagiarism. Although it was repeatedly discussed to us by different teachers still, we cannot deny the fact that there are still a lot of people doing it. Plagiarism is crime and it is against the law. We must always put it in our minds that it is illegal and there is no exception. Live our life by way of making own and be proud of it because not just the law of people we are following but alao God's.
And this my reflection about this subject. I've learned a lot and I will surely apply it in the next succeeding years. Thanks to my teacher and classmates. I love you all.

Media Information Literacy is important because of the world's growing technology. This is to disseminate learning and wisdom to people about media, especially to students. Students need this the most because most of the school works, nowadays, requires the use of gadgets and technology. With knowledge, students can easily comply the academic requirements.

From the topics we discussed in MIL, I learned how to create websites through WIX. We also have new experience on making a vlog in different places which we really enjoy We also did short films which enhance our skills in acting and editing. MIL also thought us about the different effects of media/ technology to people. This subject also gave us new experience on taking photos from different angles. Lastly, MIL also thought us what plagiarism is, what are the different types of it, and how it may affect person. Plagiarism is presenting someone else's work and ideas as your own without the consent of the real owner. Plagiarism is not in itself a crime, but can constitute copyright infringement. That's all I understand from our lessons in MIL.

Media and Information Literacy is a subject suited for the present generation. Since the use of technology as a medium of communication is a present day trend, everyone must be knowledgeable and aware on how to use, when, where, and who can use it in different situations. This subject gave me the opportunity to learn on my own experience. Different activities were done that I enjoyed and improved my skills in different media. My skills in editing, layouting, making websites and writing were exercised because of the different activities being made. I enjoyed watching the movie with the title Spirited Away whole learning the different symbolic codes used to convey messages to the audiences. I love how our teacher used media to tickle our interests and be able to connect it to the lesson. I also had fun taking different shots of my classmates. Different angles and resolutions were taken by me. My favorite shot is the high angle shot because the subject appears cute in the frame. I like cute things that's why. Another lesson I learned in this subject is about plagiarism. We all know that copying one's work without their permission and owning it is a crime. I also learned that there are different kinds of plagiarism. We must be aware of it. Over all Media and Information Literacy is fun and exciting subject.

In this subject which is the MEDIA INFORMATION LITERACY, I’ve learned and experience so many things that enable me to be more exposed to the advantages brought by the advancement of our technology. I am happy that my knowledge in creating a different shot has developed. Before taking up this subject, I only have little knowledge on how to take a picture. I only knew about the basics such as capturing the object without putting an effect of it just a simple shot. But now, I already know how to create a different shot, how to use the rule of thirds in terms of capturing the object and I must say that I am grateful of this subject because it helped me a lot to improve.
Honestly, I am amazed that there are so many things in the Internet that are interesting and had helped me as a student. Then, I learned that every files or document that comes from the internet I need to put the link or the author of that document to void plagiarism. It is giving a respect and acknowledgement for her/him.
Indeed, this subject is one of my favorites and I honestly enjoyed the lessons because of the challenging activities and homework that my teacher gave. Every time I do the activities I find myself frustrated but happy. Frustrated because of the new experiences that I find difficult and makes me awake till dawn. But all in all I am happy because I am learning new things that can be applied in doing my studies and even in work.

As a millennial and a student the subject Media and Information Literacy (MIL) is very essential to us because it widens our knowledge about medias and help us to better understand the world of internet and technology. This semester we had the chance to take this subject and I honestly learned a lot of things about medias. First, I learned about the evolution of traditional media to new media. We discovered how people in the old age communicate, their arts and tools used in their everyday lives. I realized how far our communication had evolved from cave paintings to newspaper and typewriter to emails and social medias like facebook and twitter. We are really living in a much convenient world than before. Second thing that I had learned is about the meaning of information literacy which is, being able to understand and comprehend texts and information and identify the legit posts and articles to the fake news. For me, information literacy also means being a responsible netizen and using the internet in a good way. I also learned about the different types of medias like, (1) Print Media which include books, magazine, and newspaper (2) Electronic Media, which includes phones, tablets, and computers, another is the (3) Broadcast Media, which include television and radio, and lastly is the (4) Digital/New Media, which includes the social medias and internet. Another lesson that I had learned in this subject is the effects of media to the youth. We had a task about this lesson and I realized that media is really important to us youth especially for our studies but we should always keep in mind that our taste of freedom comes with a great responsibility. We should always control our self in using media. Another thing that I learned is about the media and information sources and media and information languages. Media source serves as a means of communicating to a general public audience and they can be a person who can be a source of information like the newscasters and teachers. Media Source can also come the library like books and almanacs. Indigenous sources can be obtained traditionally. The internet is the latest and most common used media source nowadays because it is more convenient to use, in just a click we can already find different informations that we need. On the other hand, media languages includes the repeated use of particular words, phrases and images and can also be known as verbal or visual language. Codes are systems of signs which create meaning, it's types are; (1) Technical Codes, ways in which equipment is used to tell a story, (2) Symbolic Codes show what is beneath the surface of what we see, and (3) Written Codes uses a language style and textual layout. Conventions, messages, and audiences are also a type of media languages. We also experience having a broadcasting. It is my first time doing it but I still enjoyed it. Another lesson that I learned is about the different shots in a camera amd we were able to used what we have learned on it on the making of our short films. I learned that having multiple angles in a video makes it more beautiful because it gives the viewer to know the reaction of the person being captured. The last lesson that I learned is about plagiarism and we were taught how important paraphrasing is and giving proper credits to the real owner. This lessons that was taught to us this semester will be very helpful for us and also it is an eye-opener to those people or student.

Media Information Literacy is one of the subjects that gives a hands-on activity for us, students, not just know everything in the lesson and store it in our mind but also to learn and apply it through the activities we undergone. Activity like reporting in this subject helps us to boast the self-esteem of an individual and teamwork as a group.
Broadcasting is another activity that we did, it enhance the talent of a student in this field and also expose it to other not to degrade the student but to develop his/her talent. It is very beneficial because this activity is a stepping stone to every one of us, student.
Film making activity enhances the talents, skills and knowledge of us in editing, acting, directing and such. The lesson in photography, the shots, angles and everything relates to this is applied right after the lecture.
This subject is a big help in me because things that I from this subject is beneficial to me as a student for I can use lessons I gathered from this and apply it in college if we will have an activity related to this.

Media and Information Literacy might seem to be a less important subject but the truth is, it plays a big role in our life. In this subject, we learn Media production and we express ourselves at the same time. It develops education and collaboration through a creative process. In today's generation where technology takes part or everything, MIL serves as an empowerment tool for our interaction within the society.

For the past months of studying Media and Information Literacy. We learned a lot of it that could help us in our everyday life. In this reflection I don't want to wrote every single lesson that Maam Merly discuss to us. Maam Merly De Mesa is our subject teacher in MIL she do everything for us. She is amazing person, she gave example and she explain her lesson very well for us to understand the topics. I just want to wrote here the lesson that I Learned and get when the discussion is on going. I learned the different angles and shot on camera. It can help us to discovered and we can used it to our best phograph or best shot that we had. If you know the different angles of a camera shots we can captured the moment that we had. Also how to send on the different websites like edmodo. I learned how to use edmodo it is easy for us to access it and to send files. I know about the evolution of technology that before they are using a simple gadget but because of innovation and evolution it was change to a new beautiful onces. I also found out the different types to avoid the plagiarism. It is very important to us to know what is plagiarism and how to avoid this. As a student we must avoid to do this. I also learned that every text or photo that we get from the internet always cite the source or the original author for that. I learned a lot from the past months that we had. The learning that I have could always be part of our life.

During the last months on my stay here in the University, I acquire different knowledge and skills. Including with this is the information I learned from our subject MIL, like the different camera angles (close-up, medium shot, high-angle shot etc.),what is Plagiarism ,different forms of media, types of media ex. Print media . I also learned how to make a Blog using Wix .I also experienced to make a short film were I get to went on the different places and I get to be with my classmates which I don’t usually join. I also get involve with radio broadcasting were I was able to felt the nervous of being a radio anchor. This subject does not only provide technical knowledge about media but it also let the students to apply the knowledge in a practical way and open a bridge to connect each other and build a good relationship with each other.

We all know that Media and information literacy is one of the best thing that can help us to learn new things and know that we can use it in the future. Media Literacy is defined as the " ability to access, analyze, evaluate and communicate messages in a variety of forms".It recognizes the primary role of information and media in our everyday lives.When we use media, we have the freedom to read and evaluate the works of people. The media and Information Literacy is truly difficult to understand because it have a wide effect in our lives. Its so interesting because it brings the people together all over the world even though we have different cultures or beliefs.Media is important, it serves as the gateway of informations and knowledge, it also motivates as to be critical thinker. It is considered to be relevant to our society because it helps us in expressing our own opinions or feelings in using appropriate manner in a specific problem or anything that is happening in our society, it helps us to become a productive citizen of our community that delivers information in a great way. Media and information literacy is therefore about helping us all to become competent and critical in the various media forms so that we are well equipped to control the interpretation of what we observe and hear.

I really have an interest about technology and media, there are a lot of information and we can get answers to our questions through media. I had learned in our subject Media, Information Literacy that Media is wide, it has a lot of scpoe including the websites, sources, etc. Through media, we can search everything what we want to know, we can be able to get answers to our questions, and we can communicate with others even they are from afar. Media can be used through technology, without it, there is no media existed. As we all know, changes is the only constant in this world so even the technology changed, it improve as time goes by. Media Literacy is the ability to read, analyze, evaluate and produced communication in a variety of media forms, as had been said, there are a lot of information in media. The information literacy is the ability to recognize when the information is needed and also to locate, evaluate and effectively use to communicate it. Another thing I had learned in our subject is in taking photos or in photogrsphy, there are rules that we must do for our shots to be better and can convey message clearly to the viewers. There are different angle shots in capturing the subject and it is important for it will be more appreciative. There are a lot of thing I had learned about Media and Information Literacy but still I am hoping that I will learned other things I still do not know about it.

First of all, i would like to thank our teacher to share her knowledge about Media Information Literacy, Ms. Merly De Mesa. I suffered a difficult realization on this subject, the terms use is unfamiliar. But I make it with help of our teacher and my classmates. I learned different things like ;editing a video, making a blog and vlog, different photography shots, and further knowledge in Media, types and definition media etc. These things gives me an idea about MIL. And many activities, quizzes and projects comes up and we passed through step by step with cooperation and support of each others. And I wish that I should take more activities to help myself more to understand the world of Media Information Literacy

Media Information and Literacy. We learned a lot about this subject. We experienced a lot of new great things that helped us improved ourselves, our skills. We got to know our capability in doing computer-related works, like creating our class brochure or magazine highlighting our talents in doing the different parts of it, performing radio broadcasting, directing, capturing and editing our short film while applying what we have learned in the subject like the different shots, angle shots and other techniques in creating such a lovely film and using our unique ideas we were able to create our blog. We also did reporting to boost our self-confidence and to have the courage to face people whenever we need to present or perform and we also happened to enjoy film viewing to develop our understanding and learn about analyzing a film or the likes. Our teachers gave us a big help and taught us many things that we could use in the future. I am grateful and I am looking forward to apply what we have learned from this subject. Thank you.

This semester we have the subjected Media and Information literacy or MIL. Last semester our teacher in EMTECH is Ma’am Merly now, in MIL subject also she is our teacher in that subject. She does everything to us to make us understand the lesson and she always have long patience for us.
This sem. she have lots of lesson that she prepare for us one of that is the Evolution of Tradition to new Media and information Literacy. It shows the flow on how the technology evolves or upgrade. It also show on how the technology getting more high tech and more useful in this generation.
Also she teaches us the different shots and angles to make more beautiful the images. She show us the process and angle like long angle shot, tilt shots, close-up shots and other shots. She also tells something about photography and the benefits and way in how to get beautiful shots.
She’s a good teacher that every student of her can learn in her lesson. She also gives us a sheet to write down our recitation so that she see who are the one who participate her class. She teach us a lot that I can’t explain and share because I don’t know how to explain the way she did.

There's a lot of lesson that I learned from this second semestral. The Media and Information Literacy is our subject this semestral which I learned more. I learned that MIL is an essential skills and competencies that allow individuals to engage with media and other information providers effectively, as well as develop critical thinking and life-long learning skills to socialize and become active citizens.
I've also learned the different types of media, media is a physical objects can used to communicate including mass media example; radio, television, computers, film, etc. and also the information literacy what about. I learned about the history of the media tools back then, the evolution of traditional to new media which is the Pre-Industrial Age, Industrial Age, Electronic Age and Information Age. I learned also about the different kinds of website and how to create website, which can help me if I try to make a business online shop. Through this website's it can easily communicate to other online shoppers. It is a big help for me.
I learned about plagiarism too. Plagiarism is crime and people should know what plagiarism is, especially the students who actually create a crime like this. There's a lot things that I appreciated, there are three activities that I love, it is the Radio Broadcasting, Photography and Filming. Through this kind of activities I've been showed my skills and talent as a broadcaster, photographer and actress. I am very thankful to my MIL teacher because she always have a consideration for each of us and for having a patience while guiding us when there's a problems inside the computer laboratory. Media and Information Literacy subject taught me how to enjoy life while learning on it. The experience were unmeasurable. It makes me competent enough as a media and information literate individual. This made me a better user of media and technology for daily lives and a wise person on how to handle things or information.MIL allows me to be a literate individual by being knowledgeable enough oh how to used the different forms of media. Media and Information Literacy has been one of my faborite subject in the final semeste because everything that was taught here is something that we can bring or used in the near future. During the discussion I have learned a lot of things such as (1) the evolution of media, this mark my mind that I should appreciate how the media evolve in the years had past because without further evolution we dont have that different kind of media we enjoy right now. Thanks really to the unstoppable evolution. (2) I also enjoy learning the different camera angles and shots, which is for me very important becaus as a mellinial I am fond of taking pictures or selfies and by the help of this discussion I know now how to capture different photographs with their perfect shots and angles. (3) Doing our own website were also something for me because I doesnt know in the past that it was that easy for me to have my own website and I guess its a great help for me someday specially because want to have my own business website. (4) also, by this subject, this make me showcase my talent in acting and let others knows about it and make them appreciate what I can still do that they dont know. We dont only create a simple movie but movie with a standard wherein we where knowledgeable about the fundamentals of a movie. It enhance my acting skill at the same time boost up my confidence in the camera. Enjoy each moment when you were learning because thats where the knowledge really came from. And I have realized that experience was really the best teacher.

Media Information Literacy, When I hear about it, I know it is related to technology, how to get information, and other form that's connected with this. This subject is very important to insure that the knowledge of students would expand in communication, skills etc. It's a great opportunity that we already encountered this on our senior high school. Because this stage of students can be impulsive, but with the help of this subject we can limit ourselves and how we can react on a certain problem specially on social media. In getting the information we want, there are different ways to get it, it can be in a library, internet, but i think the best way to get an accurate data is coming from the library, because it is a published work made by those people who study about their topic. And this is very helpful for those who wants to be a photographer like me. The different types of angle shots, you can't just take a picture without thinking of what would be your desired output. It's very important in movies, to emphasise the point of view of a character to know the setting of the story. Aside from angle shot the character,setting,mise en scene, actions should be seen in the movie to get a beautiful outcome. Last on our lesson we talked about plagiarism, thou this topic is not new with me because we already discussed this on our junior high school days, still its a refreshment for us and also a reminder to not commit this type of mistake to avoid involving in a conflict that can ruin your reputation. And it is a practice to yourself for being honest in everything and you can be proud of your work own without copying other peoples work.In overall, I am thankful because i've learned a lot about this topic, it added my knowledge in this field. I can use what i've learned in the future purposes. I can also share things i know regardless with this topic. Looking forward for more knowledge that it can give to me.

Media Information Literacy really help me a lot in working with our projects. It informed us about the judgments in use of media and how to interpret it. It really enhanced my skill in making simple presentation but creative. This subjects have a different topics about media. Introduction to the media information literacy: media literacy, information literacy and technology literacy, next the evolution of traditional to new media: prehistoric age, industrial age, electronic age and new age, about types of media the print media, broadcast media and new media, the media and information sources; library, indigenous, internet and others, the media and information languages; codes, conventions, and messages, audiences, producers, stakeholders and others, legal, ethical, societal issues in media like copyrights, plagiarism and netiquette. This subjects is one of the helpful subject to the students for their future job. Thank you to Ma'am Merly De Mesa who gives her patience and effort to teach us in our school year. She gives us so much project that can really help us to enhance my skills.

Media information literacy is one of the subject that gives as chance to inhance our skill in terms of information gathering through media. It gives information that we will used in our daily lives, it creates interaction to other person. This kind of subject really help student to be knowledgable in using media. The rights and donts of using media will be discussed in this subject. Once i heard this subject the idea that pop up to my mind is that those topics that will be tackled is all about knowing the right and donts using of media.
One topic that stack to my mind is the plagiarsm, as student we should know this for us to avoid committed plagiarism. To avoid plagiarism we should know how to give respect to the authors or the owner of the article etc. This subject gives information that will help anyone especifically the student to be responsible in every action that they did. Being responsible is one of the key to have a peace mind.

Media and Information Literacy is one of our subject this second semester. I enjoyed and learned many different things in terms of Technology. I learned new things about film. The right angle and shots in film that we can used creating a movie. The things that our teacher taught us was used in creating our short film. This shots and angles that I learned is I can used in my daily life most especially in my social accounts to share my emotions. I learned on how the media and communication transform from nothing to something.
In this subject it gives me many opportunities that I used in my daily life. We do broadcasting that gives one of us the opportunity to be in the spotlight with our unique voices and characteristics. I learned the proper way to do a broadcasting. I also learned to do a website and designing my own website. This can be used when I want to have a personal or educational blog. I learned many ways on how to create a website. Last but not the least, I learned the different kinds of Plagiarism. It gives me a new knowledge on how to avoid plagiarism. I learned that even though you site the source but in some way it can be a plagiarism.
In the whole semester, I enjoyed and learned many things in this subject. I'm thankful that I can have an opportunity that can change my life. I'm sure that all of the things I learned in this subject will be used in my daily life.

As a student I have learned many ways and lessons about the different topics. Those lesson help me to become a literate student, teach me to be a wise user of social media and as a student I need to spread more accurate and reliable informations. I also learn that being a social media user, I need to be more responsible and more aware about different consequences. As a social media user, we need to be more careful on sharing and posting some links and status to avoid problems.
I also learned the different kind of shots and angle in camera for photos and also for movies that may help me in the near future. We also gained some knowledge about plagiarism which has a big role in our life especially as a student. Media and Information Literacy also contains different ways, reasons, types and kind of plagiarism even those people that has a higher position in the government can commit this kind of crime. But among those lessons that we've been discussed, making a website was my favorite because it was new in my eyes and mind that really amaze me. There are a lot of things that I've learned on making website. As a student, one thing that I may share to others is that we should and we need to be a good user of social media or other things that has to do with technologies because we know that it really has a big impact and importance in our life especially in our future.

In almost 5 months of schooling, I really can't believe that we were able to finish the first semester. It was never easy most especially in Media Information Literacy. For me, it was really hard to finish all the tasks and to meet the deadline. However, I guess time management is the key and everything we had done were extremely remarkable. I can say it was all worth it! This subject helped me to be a computer literate person and what be considered in using different media. Where will we get the accurate information in order to deliver a precise data. This helped me to limit the use of these media to avoid unnecessary results.

Media and information literacy enables people to interpret and make informed judgments as users of information and media, as well as to become skillful creators and producers of information and media messages in their own right.
MIL is combination of media literacy and information literacy. The purpose of this collaboration is to engage in a digital society; this needs of the individual to be able to understand, inquire, create, communicate and think critically. It is so important for us because it good to access, organize, analyze, evaluate, and create messages in different forms.
UNESCO defines MIL as the set understanding of the ethical issues surrounding the access and use of information, and engages with media and ICTs promote equality, free expression, and intercultural/interreligious dialogue, peace, etc.
The Evolution of Media has 4 ages; (1) Pre-industrial Age where people discovered fire, developed papers from plants and forged weapons and tools with stone, bronze, copper and iron (2) Industrial Age refers to people who used the power of stream, developed machine tools, established iron production and manufacturing of various products including books through the paints press. (3) Electronic Age in this age, long distance communication became more efficient because people harnessed the power of transistors that led to the transistor radio and electronic products/circuits and the early computers. (4) New/Information Age in this age the internet paved the way for faster communication and the creation of the social network. Today we are living in the Information Age.
There 3 sources of information the (1) Libraries, (2) Indigenous media and (3) Internet. These are good for reliability of information, accuracy, value, and the authority of the source. Indigenous media is native, originating, or produced naturally in a particular region is not written, and has a unique knowledge. And it has different forms (1) Folk or traditional media (2) gatherings and social (3) Organizations (4) Direct observations (5) Records (6) Oral instructions.
I also learn about the different camera shots, and camera angles which made me feel so amaze because I thought it so simple to do so such shots but when we try it, it quite hard to focus to the object you wanted to take a shot.
MIL is an interesting subject for those who would like to study technology or in computer, technical works and activities. It is so nice to have a subject like these I learned a lot things that I could use and share to others.

As a student, I've learned a lot during the lesson in Media and Information Literacy. As we started the lesson, which is all about media, this serves as a realization that , we are also communicating with the help of media that is on behalf/help with the technologies, which the millennials are using now. Just like using phones, having an account on facebook,twitter, instagram and more. With this we are capable of knowing and gaining information easily. Another with that , I also learned the different shot and angles that we are usually not aware that we are simply using . And lastly the Plagarism, which is not right, in other word it is an "act of fraud" which means that claiming the work of other. In this, I've learned thag we should work for our own, we should be aware that having with the attitude of relying on others work, will not lead us into a good one, but it will lead us in some crime and dishonesty . It has been a learning process throughout the 2nd semester. Media, Information and Literacy is the subject wherein our knowledge and learnings gained from first semester are being tested. Types of media had been discussed. This semester also tackled Media Information Sources and Language. I learned the different shots of photography and different camera angles are being focused. Creating Websites and Lessons about Plagiarism had been discussed again. It was very important to review all of our past lessons because this is the most effective way to learn.
Through the Media Information and Literacy subject, I became more Computer Literate which was the main goal of this subject in the first place. As a Senior Highschool student I realized how important the K to 12 was for I had given an opportunity to gain an advance knowledge which I can use for my future Course in College.

Media Information and Literacy taught me not only to engage to the modern society, communicating information using media technologies, or to be a socialized person but to absorb learnings in an ethical behaviour and to develop ones skills and interests using the subject. For my last days being a Grade 12 ABM student here in CBSUA Laboratory High School, MIL subject made a big mark in me as a student for being one of the of the most challenging subject. It needs a lot of efforts and an ample of time because it's more on practical works/activities. After all the discussion and activities we made in this subject, I realized that this is not just an ordinary subject but this is a guide for everyone that we should understand the essence of having this MIL especially for student like me. Now that we are in a modern world where technologies are part of our living, we should be sensitive enough in using it. A wrong move can change everything so we should responsible to it. Media Information literacy push me to use and develop my skills in editing, movie making, performing tasks with confident and applying it on different fields not only to this subject but for my everyday life. MIL seems to be the most time consuming subject but all of it is WORTH IT. Because of all the practical work which needs cooperation with one another, It also served as a way to get to know our classmates better. I get to know and bond with them and I think that was one of the purpose of having MIL. I realized how talented ABM students are, How useful this subject is and how important to be literate in media technologies. I cannot imagine I finished all task in this subject. I am just so happy that before I graduate Senior High School, I will carry all learnings and experiences proudly. This will not be wasted and will always be treasured.

Media Information and Literacy is one of the most interesting subject in the whole semester. I learned a lot of knowledge that can be used for projects and outputs.Because of this subject I built my own skill in terms of technology.In first semester, I have learned on how to do broadcasting.Broadcasting is totally hard especially of the equipments are incomplete. I really do respect all the broadcasters and the people behind their work of providing excellent output for news and entertainment.On the other hand,I have learned the different types of camera shots and the effects of plagiarism in the second semester. Plagiarism is the process of copying written person's output or words without acknowledging the person or the owner.The act of plagiarizing should not be tolerated for something that you can possibly be successful because it will only results for cheating.While the camera shots gives an importance for art of taking pictures,I thought taking pictures in different angles is just an ordinary way.However, taking pictures have an essence in providing creative shots that's how I acknowledge every single picture that I took from different places.We also did a vlog promoting bicolano courtship for the farewell party of Indonesian student teachers.My groupmates build a creative story wherein the traditional courtship of Bicolanos are recognised. The M.I.L trained me to explore technology.This can be helpful for me to engage it in the future.

Media Information and Literacy thought me how to use the internet and social media properly that do not affect my neighbor. This is a very enjoyable subject of all. You are just like playing with the software and you will come up in a good product. Having this subject in my senior high school life makes my journey cool and colorful because this gives me the idea how to create our own website that we can use in the future for our business. Media Information and Literacy teach us the importance of using internet and social media in this generation that makes ourselves to be confident because we have enough idea how to use it and how to play with it without doing that against the rules or law in the internet. This subject clarify our old ways about copying the work of others. In our own knowledge we doing right but when you look to the rules in the internet you are not doing right. There are ways how to get the idea of others without committing bad and there are too many types of plagiarism which is one of your habit. This also gives us the idea how to be practical because there are too many ways how to make your ideas on reality without a large expense. This is one of the best subject of all I can’t write all the lessons that I’ve learned because there are millions of knowledge that Media Information and Literacy thought me.

As a Grade 12 student, I see that our world today is full of media and technology. So when I heard the Media and Information Literacy. I know it is related to technology and that’s fine it’s all about technology but I realized that it has a big role to our lives also to our country. This subject is very important especially to us students because it will help us to have more reliable and accurate information. You can apply your learning’s after you studied Media and Information Literacy in your daily routine just for example for communicating with other person by posting in social media and other uses that is related to Media and Information Literacy. It’s a great opportunity that we already encountered this subject because we will know our limitation in using media and on how we properly used it. Also I know the disadvantages or effects of media when we do not use it properly. I have learned a lot of things in Media and Information Literacy in terms of communication, photography, layouting, different angles in camera shots, making videos and presentations that will surely help my ability and skills to improve. And this is very helpful for those who want to be a photographer someday like me to make invitations to become editors and other. Media as we all know it is part of our life right now I can’t imagine how world it can be if there’s no media at all. Empowerment Technology was such a hard and difficult subject for me. It is hard because some of the lessons in this subject is difficult to understand and sometimes I can't relate it in my life. But there are times that I can fully understand what our teacher discussing. Learning knowledge in EmTech is very important. Why is it very important? First, it helps me especially other people to be wise and aware in using internet. Second, be responsible in posting some images or other confidential things that people can saw it. Lastly, It is useful in our daily lives. In this subject, I learned a lot of lessons that I can use and apply in my life. Some if these are how to create web sites, web page, and also I learned how to be more effective and good businesswoman using new technology. But my most favorite lesson that I had learned is the Information and Communication Technology or also known as ICT. By this, it also helps me to locate, save, send and edit a particular information in a world wide web. Then, as the day passes by, I learned different kinds of angle shots that helps us to make a good quality short film because we applied cinematic techniques tought by our professor. What we had done in this subject is very helpful and useful. My journey in E-Tech is like a roller coaster. Even though there are many ups and downs, but still I overcome the challenges and hardships in this subject. It brought me a lot of learnings and perceptions. All thing I learned is never be forgotten and will always remain in my mind and heart. This is the best and worst subject for me.​

Learning about styles, angles, and shots in photography or in filming is one of the most interesting topic that I have learned. The camera shots are very important because it maybe emphasizing the subjects movements. On our activity, I learned that angles and styles of photography is very much important to emphasize the beauty or uniqueness of the object. It was also the same in filming, the movement of the camera can increase the quality of the film. It may be hard from the first try, but it will turn out good when you practice those effects and styles in camera shots. And it also help me to get familiar and improve my skill in photography and in film making.
